TURN 30th Anniversary Reunion Schedule of EventsSeptember 1, 2025
Dear Friends,
We are excited to invite you to a special TURN 30th Year Anniversary Gathering on September 19-20, 2025 in the Chicago area. We hope that many of our friends and colleagues who have attended and participated in past national TURN meetings will be able to join us for this weekend celebration!
We are planning several activities over the two days that will provide opportunities for social gatherings as well as conversations focused on some of the challenges and successes in our schools and communities in addition to considering opportunities to advocate for and support public education.
On Saturday, September 20, we plan to gather at the Illinois Federation of Teachers, Robert M. Healey Center at 500 Oakmont Lane, Westmont, IL from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm. In addition, we are planning Happy Hour Social Gatherings from 5:00-6:30 pm at the Hilton on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20 at the Hilton Chicago Oak Brook Hills Resort and Conference Center. We are working on dinner options at area restaurants for Friday and/or Saturday evening to be shared at a later date.

TURN RESERVATIONS: To Register for this special 30th Year TURN Anniversary Gathering, please log onto https://turnweb.org/conferences/turn-30th-year-anniversary-reunion/ by September 1, 2025. The $50 Registration Fee will cover the cost of food, beverages, materials and fees during our Saturday, September 20 meeting at the IFT Healey Center, as well as our Happy Hour appetizers on Friday, September 19. The Toledo Federation of Teachers-AFT has graciously offered to cover the cost of appetizers for our Happy Hour on Saturday, September 20 at the Hilton Hotel. The cost of beverages during Happy Hours and food and beverages during our Dinner gatherings will be covered by participating individuals.
